Project # 3

"TONG TONG TONG PAKITONG KITONG" a Filipino Nursery Song

Children are exposed to different ideas and experiences outside of their daily lives when they hear music from various cultures. Exposing them to diverse languages' sounds, rhythms, and intonation helps them distinguish between sounds, which is a crucial part of language acquisition. Concentration and active listening are aided by listening to the sounds of other languages. Furthermore, listening to music from a different culture is a wonderful approach to understand that we live in a diverse world with individuals of various backgrounds and values. Children focus on similarities rather than differences with others, noting that people all across the world dance, sing, rhyme, and enjoy music in the same way they do.
